Mild Depression
Our therapists at ABBA’s Hands offer compassionate care for mild depression, utilizing therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you regain your mental health and improve your quality of life.
Depression is a common but serious mental/mood disorder that affects how a person acts, feels, thinks, and perceives the world. Symptoms of depression can range from mild to severe and last 2 weeks or more. Symptoms of depression include a feeling of sadness, indifference, or hopeless, combined with low activity levels, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, remembering things or making decisions, difficulty sleeping or sleeping too much, changes in appetite (loss of appetite or overeating), weight gain or loss, physical symptoms (headaches, body aches, or digestive problems), changes in mood(agitation, angry, negative, detached or withdrawn), and thoughts of death and/or suicidal thoughts or attempts.
Services offered at Abba’s Hands for the treatment of mild depression include medications such as SSRIs (Lexapro, Wellbutrin, or Zoloft) and Tetracyclic antidepressants (Remeron and Amitriptyline); group therapy and educational support. Our team will collaborate with you to create a treatment plan that meets your unique needs.
